1. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) preferred beginning with the right side when wearing his sandals, combing his hair, purifying himself, and in all his affairs. - 1 ملاحظة 2. Show reverence to Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) by honoring his family members. 3. I have never seen the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) laugh so heartily that his uvula could be seen; rather, he would only smile 4. Do not supplicate against yourselves, do not supplicate against your children, and do not supplicate against your property, lest you do it at a time in which Allah answers all supplications so you will be granted what you asked for 5. If anyone of you sees a vision that he likes, then it is from Allah, the Exalted. He should praise Allah for it and narrate it to others 6. Whoever supports two girls till they grow up, he and I will come on the Day of Resurrection like this 7. Were it not that I would cause difficulty for my followers, I would command them to use the tooth-stick with every prayer - 1 ملاحظة 8. Every morning, two angels descend. One of them says: O Allah, give the one who spends (in the way of Allah) compensation. The other one says: 'O Allah, give the one who withholds (from spending in the way of Allah) damage 9. I was with Sa‘īd ibn Jubayr when he said: Who among you saw a shooting star last night? I said: It was I. Then I said: In fact, I was not (busy) in prayer, but I was stung by a scorpion 10. Pursue the right course and be as close to it as possible, and know that none of you will be saved by their deeds. They asked: Not even you, O Messenger of Allah? He replied: Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me in mercy and favor from Him 11. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I am not capable of enumerating praise of You. You are as You have praised Yourself 12. Should I not inform you about the people of Paradise? Every weak person who is looked down upon; if he were to make an oath in the name of Allah, He (Allah) would fulfill it. He then said: Should I not inform you about the people of Hellfire? Every cruel, greedy, and arrogant person 13. I know a word that if he said, his rage would go away. If he said: I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil, his rage would subside 14. A good vision is from Allah, and a (bad) dream is from the devil 15. Hold back your tongue, abide in your house, and weep over your sin 16. In Paradise, there are one hundred degrees that Allah prepared for those who make Jihad in the cause of Allah. The distance between each two degrees is like the distance between the heaven and earth 17. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said: I am as My slave thinks of Me, and I am with him wherever he remembers Me 18. What did the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) use to start with upon entering his house? She said: With the tooth-stick 19. That is a man in whose ears (or he said: in whose ear) the devil urinated 20. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would strive more in Ramadan than he would strive in other than it, and in the last ten of it than he would strive in other than them - 2 ملاحظة 21. We used to prepare for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) his tooth-stick and the water he used for making ablution. Then, Allah would awaken him whenever He willed during the night, and he would brush his teeth with the tooth-stick, make ablution, and perform prayer 22. There is no servant who conceals the faults of another servant in this worldly life, except that Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection 23. Let none of you die but should have good expectation from Allah 24. If you are as you say, it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and you will have a supporter against them from Allah as long as you continue to do so - 1 ملاحظة 25. Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah will not be touched by Hellfire - 1 ملاحظة 26. No people leave a gathering in which they did not remember Allah, the Almighty, except that it will be as if they are leaving the carcass of a donkey, and it will be a cause of regret for them 27. The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember Him is the like the example of a living and a dead person 28. Verily, among the things I fear the most for you is the splendor and pleasures of this worldly life when they become plentifully available to you 29. Whoever is pleased to be saved by Allah from the anguish of the Day of Judgment, let him give the insolvent a respite or grant him remission 30. The least tortured one among the dwellers of Fire on the Day of Judgment is a man who will have two live coals placed underneath his feet that will cause his brain to boil. He will think that none is tortured more than him, while he is the least tortured 31. A believer will be brought close to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection and enveloping him in His mercy, He will make him confess his sins 32. Be indifferent to worldly life, and Allah will love you; and be indifferent to what people have, and people will love you 33. Righteousness is good morals and sinfulness is what your heart is not at ease with and you hate that people know about it 34. If anyone fasts a day for the sake of Allah, Allah shall keep his face away from Hell (the distance of) seventy years 35. People will retain goodness as long as they hasten to break their fast - 1 ملاحظة 36. We used to pay it (Zakat al-Fitr) as one Sā‘ of food, or one Sā‘ of barley, or one Sā‘ of dry crumbled milk, or one Sā‘ of raisins 37. We had Suhūr with the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), and then he stood for prayer. I asked: What was the interval between Suhūr and the Adhān? He said: As long as the recitation of 50 verses 38. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to practice I‘tikāf in the last ten nights of Ramadan until he passed away; then, his wives followed this practice after him 39. Eat the Sahūr (pre-dawn meal) for indeed there is a blessing in it - 2 ملاحظة 40. Do not fast a day or two days ahead of Ramadan, except a person who is in the habit of observing a particular fast; he may fast on that day 41. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) made it obligatory for every male and female, the free and the slave, to pay Sadaqat al-Fitr (or said Sadaqat Ramadan) 42. It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel the distance of one day and night unless she is accompanied by a Mahram 43. Whoever forgets that he is fasting and eats or drinks, let him complete his fast, for it was Allah who fed him and gave him to drink 44. These are two days which the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited fasting on: the day you break your fast (Eid al-Fitr) and the day you eat from your sacrificial animals (Eid al-Ad'ha) 45. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would thus say Talbiyah: O Allah, I respond to Your call! I do respond. I respond to Your call; You have no partner. I do respond. Praise, blessings, and sovereignty are only Yours. You have no partner 46. Seek the Laylat al-Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan 47. I see that your dreams have coincided with each other upon the last seven nights. So, whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights 48. Has Allah not given you something to give as charity? Every utterance of "glory be to Allah" is charity; every utterance of "Allah is the Greatest" is charity; every utterance of "praise be to Allah" is charity; and every utterance of "there is no god but Allah" is charity 49. Anyone who relieves a hardship for a believer in this world, Allah will relieve one of his hardships on the Day of Resurrection. Anyone who makes things easy for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him in this world and in the Hereafter. Anyone who covers up the faults and sins of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his faults and sins in this world and in the Hereafter. 50. O people, seek repentance from Allah and seek His forgiveness. Verily, I seek repentance one hundred times a day - 2 ملاحظة 51. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) dissociates himself from the woman who wails, the woman who shaves her head out of grief, and the woman who tears up her clothes out of grief 52. The Children of Israel were being ruled by prophets. Whenever a prophet died, another would succeed him. Verily, there will be no prophet after me, but there will be caliphs who will increase in number 53. With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would pray all night, wake up his family, show diligence (in worship), and tie up his lower garment firmly 54. Worship in times of chaos and killing is like migration towards me 55. No Muslim on earth supplicates Allah, the Almighty, except that Allah answers his supplication or averts from him harm equivalent to it, unless he supplicates for something sinful or for the severing of the ties of kinship 56. Supplications said at the time of distress: There is no god but Allah, the Great, the Compassionate. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and the Honorable Throne 57. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) would frequently say in his Rukū‘ and prostration: Glory and praise be to You, our Lord. O Allah, forgive me 58. If any of you yawns, let him put his hand over his mouth 59. The Muslim owes his fellow Muslim six (things): when you meet him, greet him; when he invites you, accept his invitation; when he asks for your advice, give him advice; when he sneezes and praises Allah, say: May Allah have mercy on you; when he is ill, visit him; and when he dies, follow his funeral. 60. Allah does not look at the one who drags his clothes out of self-conceit 61. Whoever seizes the right of a Muslim by taking a false oath, Allah will condemn him to Hell and will forbid Paradise for him 62. There are two blessings in which many people incur loss: health and free time 63. Hellfire will be brought on that Day with seventy thousand bridles; and with each bridle, there will be seventy thousand angels pulling it - 1 ملاحظة 64. O Allah, forgive all my sins, small and great, first and last - 1 ملاحظة 65. Those who indulge in cursing will not be intercessors or witnesses on the Day of Resurrection 66. Verily, your Lord is Modest and Munificent. He is ashamed to turn down His servant empty handed when he raises his hands to Him 67. If people sit in a session where they neither remember Allah nor invoke blessings upon the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) that will be for them a cause of grief on the Day of Judgment 68. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) liked comprehensive supplications and discarded others 69. Taking an oath may sell a commodity, but it takes (the blessing) away from the earnings 70. Do not curse the wind. If you see what you dislike thereof, then say: O Allah, we ask You for the good of this wind, the good of what it contains, and the good of what it is ordered to do. We seek refuge with You from the evil of this wind, the evil of what it contains, and the evil of what it is ordered to do 71. None of you should say: O Allah, forgive me if You will; O Allah, be Merciful to me if You will; but he should appeal to Allah with determination, for nobody can force Allah to do something against His will 72. May the one who hears my name mentioned before him but does not invoke Allah's peace and blessings upon me be humiliated - 1 ملاحظة 73. Fasting three days every month is fasting your entire lifetime 74. What is the matter with those people who said such-and-such? Indeed, I pray and I sleep too, I fast sometimes and do not fast other times, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah does not belong to me - 1 ملاحظة 75. No two Muslims meet and shake hands except that their sins are forgiven before they part 76. Whoever memorizes ten of the first verses of Sūrat al-Kahf will be guarded against the Anti-Christ 77. Whoever visits a sick person whose time of death has not come and says, seven times "I ask Allah the Great, the Lord of the Great Throne, to cure you", except that Allah will cure him from that sickness 78. Verily, the hearts of all human beings are between two of the fingers of the Most Merciful as one heart; He turns it wherever He wills 79. Islam's easiness and leniency 80. May Allah grant beauty to the one who hears something from us and communicates it exactly as he heard it 81. I will be the chief of people on the Day of Judgment. Do you know why is this so? 82. Verily, for the believer in Paradise is a tent made of a single hollow pearl, the length of which would be sixty miles in the sky. The believer will have wives therein whom he will visit in turn, and none of whom will see the others 83. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the man who wears women's clothes and the woman who wears men's clothes 84. Whoever has a sacrificial animal for slaughtering, once the crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah is declared, he should not cut anything of his hair or his nails until he sacrifices 85. Take these sandals of mine, and anyone you meet outside this orchard testifying with full certainty that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, give him glad tidings that he will enter Paradise 86. When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained 87. The one who reads the Qur'an skillfully will be in the company of the noble and righteous messenger-angels and the one who reads the Qur'an, but stutters and finds it difficult, receives a double reward - 1 ملاحظة 88. Have you not seen that some verses were revealed (to me) tonight the like of which has never been seen before? They are: {Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak} and {Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind} 89. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid us from praying or burying our deceased ones at three times: when the sun begins to rise until it is fully risen; when the sun is at its highest point in the sky at noon until it passes its zenith; and when the sun starts setting until it fully sets - 2 ملاحظة 90. Allah does not accept the prayer of any woman who has reached the age of menstruation unless [she is] veiled - 1 ملاحظة 91. What is the matter with some people who raise their eyes towards the sky during their prayer? He went on, using a strict language: They must refrain from that action, or else their sights will certainly be snatched away 92. Yawning inside the prayer is from the devil, so if anyone of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can 93. Those who took part in Badr and Al-Hudaybiyah will not enter Hellfire 94. When one of you dies, his seat (in the Hereafter) is shown to him in the morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, (he is shown his seat) in Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hellfire, (he is shown his seat) in Hellfire 95. The reward of a prayer performed in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of a prayer performed by anyone of you alone. The angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the Fajr prayer 96. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the woman who fixes hair extensions (to another) and the woman who has them fixed for her, and the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has them done for her 97. There are three (types of people) whose actions are not recorded by the Pen: the sleeper till he awakes, the minor till he reaches puberty, and the insane till he regains his sanity
