1. Leave me as I leave you. Verily, what destroyed those before you was their asking questions and their disagreement with their prophets 2. He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of goodness 3. Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise - 2 ملاحظة 4. Allah Almighty will say to the one receiving the least torment in Hellfire: 'If everything on earth was yours, would you ransom yourself with it?' He will say: 'Yes 5. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to observe I‘tikāf [spiritual retirement in the mosque] during each Ramadan for ten days. The year in which he died, he observed I‘tikāf for twenty days. 6. Whoever fights so that the word of Allah be supreme is indeed in the cause of Allah 7. Do not wear silk or brocade, and do not drink from gold or silver vessels, and do not eat in platters made therefrom, for they are for them in this world and for us in the Hereafter 8. If anyone swears by a religion other than Islam falsely and intentionally, he is as he has said - 2 ملاحظة 9. Indeed, I have not asked you to swear because I suspect you, but Jibrīl (Gabriel) came and told me that Allah Almighty is boasting about you before the angels 10. Straighten your rows, for indeed, straightening the row is from the perfection of the prayer - 2 ملاحظة 11. Modesty brings nothing but good 12. Let not a believing man hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another 13. When you go to a place to relieve yourselves, do not face or turn your back to the Qiblah (prayer direction); rather, turn towards the east or the west 14. None of you should hold his penis with his right hand while urinating, nor wipe himself after answering the call of nature using his right hand, nor breathe into the vessel 15. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to raise his hands in line with his shoulders when commencing the prayer, 16. Allāhumma bā‘id bayni wa bayna khatāyāy kama bā‘dta bayna al-mashriqi wa al-maghrib 17. Shall I tell you something about the Anti-Christ that no prophet has ever told his people? Verily, he is one-eyed and will bring with him something like Paradise and Hellfire. 18. Be moderate in prostration, and let none of you spread his forearms on the ground like a dog 19. Verily, the example of the righteous companion and the evil companion is like that of the carrier of the musk and the blower of the bellows. - 2 ملاحظة 20. Hasten to deeds before being overtaken by tribulations that are like patches of the darkest night; - 4 ملاحظة 21. When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, he used to spread out his hands until the whiteness of his armpits would be visible 22. The best dinar a man spends is a dinar that he spends on his dependents, and a dinar that a man spends on his mount in the cause of Allah, and a dinar that he spends on his companions in the cause of Allah 23. How astonishing the believer's affair is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good, and this is for none but the believer - 2 ملاحظة 24. Manner of performing Ghusl (ritual bath) from Janābah (major ritual impurity) 25. Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sneezed, he would put his hand—or his garment—over his mouth and lower—or drop—his voice therewith 26. Verily, you will follow those before you, span by span and cubit by cubit 27. Raise your head, say and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be fulfilled 28. There is no contagion, nor is there any evil omen in birds, nor is there any evil omen in the owl, nor is there any evil omen in Safar, and run away from the leper as you would run away from the lion 29. for by Allah, if Allah guides a single person through you, that will be better for you than red camels - 4 ملاحظة 30. When people see an oppressor but do not stop him, Allah will soon overwhelm them with a punishment from Him 31. By the One in Whose Hand my soul is! Either you command good and forbid evil, or Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will pray to Him but He will not respond to you - 2 ملاحظة 32. Shall I not guide you to what Allah erases the sins and elevates the ranks with? - 6 ملاحظة 33. Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds and the purest in the sight of your Sovereign and the highest in your ranks 34. He will succeed if he proves to be truthful 35. The best day upon which the sun has risen is Friday 36. May his nose be rubbed in dust, then may his nose be rubbed in dust, and may his nose be rubbed in dust." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, who? He said: "The one whose parents, one of them or both, reach old age in his life yet he does not enter Paradise 37. Al-Mufarridūn have gone far ahead 38. Make frequent prostrations to Allah, for you do not make a single prostration to Allah except that Allah raises you one degree therewith and remits one sin from you therewith 39. O Messenger of Allah, who is the most entitled among people to my good companionship? He said: Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father, and then those who are the closest to you - 4 ملاحظة 40. Whoever prays the Bardayn (Fajr and ‘Asr prayers) will enter Paradise - 2 ملاحظة 41. When a Muslim is questioned in the grave, he testifies that no deity is worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah 42. Allah has pardoned for my sake the mistakes and forgetfulness of my Ummah, and what they were coerced to do - 1 ملاحظة 43. Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will erase it, and treat people with good morals - 4 ملاحظة 44. Verily, Allah Almighty extends His Hand during the night so the sinner of the day may repent, and He extends His Hand during the day so the sinner of the night may repent until the sun rises from its west - 2 ملاحظة 45. There is a charity to be given for each joint of the human body 46. The blood of a Muslim is inviolable except by one of three: adultery by a married person, a life for a life (homicide), abandoning Islam and separating from the Islamic body 47. None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself - 2 ملاحظة 48. Injustice will be excessive darkness on the Day of Judgment - 3 ملاحظة 49. Whoever takes a bath on Friday, like the bath taken from sexual impurity, and then goes (to the mosque) is like the one who offers a camel as a sacrifice 50. Whoever eats food and says 'Alhamdulillah al-ladhi at‘amani hadha wa razaqneih min ghayri hawl li wala quwwah (Praise be to Allah who fed me and provided me with this food through no might or power on my part)', his past sins will be forgiven 51. He who performs ablution properly and then comes to the Friday prayer and listens to it attentively and keeps silent, his sins between that Friday and the following Friday will be forgiven, with the addition of three more days 52. O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you - 2 ملاحظة 53. O people, spread the greeting of peace, feed others, maintain kinship ties, and pray at night when people are asleep, and you will enter Paradise in peace 54. Indeed, the religion is easy. No one overburdens himself in the religion except that he will be overwhelmed by it. So, seek uprightness (be moderate) and try to be close to it 55. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the foremost deed that leads people to Paradise, and he replied: Fear of Allah and good character. Then, he was asked about the most things that lead people into Hellfire, and he said: The tongue and the private parts 56. Those who can afford marriage should marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. He who cannot afford it should fast, for indeed it serves as a restraint for him 57. Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) went to his bed, he would blow into his hands, recite the Mu‘awwidhāt, and then pass his hands over his body 58. Three will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of alcohol, the one who severs the ties of kinship, and the one who believes in sorcery‎ - 1 ملاحظة 59. The Imām is appointed so that he should be followed; so, do not act differently from him. When he makes Takbīr all of you should say it after him; bow when he bows; say "O our Lord, all praise be to You" when he says: Allah hears the one who praises Him; prostrate when he prostates; and all of you should pray sitting when he prays sitting 60. Let me guide you to something better than what you asked for. When you go to bed, say ‘Subhān Allah' (glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, ‘Alhamdulillāh' (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, and ‘Allāhu Akbar' (Allah is the Most Great) thirty-four times. This is better for you than a servant 61. A man said: O Messenger of Allah, when a man amongst us meets a brother or a friend, should he bow to him? He said: No. He said: Should he embrace and kiss him? He said: No. He said: Should he take his hand and shake it? He said: Yes - 1 ملاحظة 62. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he used to be more generous than ever in Ramadan when Gabriel (Jibrīl) would meet him 63. Whoever swears by Al-Lāt and Al-‘Uzza should say: 'There is no god but Allah'. And whoever says to his companion 'Come and gamble with me' should give charity 64. Do you know who the bankrupt is? - 2 ملاحظة 65. There is none among you except that Allah will speak to him, with no interpreter between Him and him 66. O Ruwayfi‘, you may live a long life after me; so, inform people that anyone who ties his beard, wears a string around his neck, or cleanse himself with animal dung or with bone, indeed Muhammad has nothing to do with him 67. Whoever reports a Hadīth on my authority that is thought to be false is one of the two liars - 4 ملاحظة 68. When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: "a‘ūdhu billāhi al-‘azhīm wa biwajhihi al-karīm wa sultānihi al-qadīm min ash-shaytān ar-rajīm" (I seek refuge in Allah, the Majestic, and in His noble Countenance, and in His eternal dominion, from the accursed devil) 69. Allah Almighty will say to the dwellers of Paradise: 'O people of Paradise!' They will reply: 'O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure.' He will say: ‘Are you contented?’ They will say: 'How could we not be contented, O Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation?' 70. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was performing ablution; he rinsed his mouth thrice and blew water out of his nose thrice. He then washed his face thrice and his right and left forearms thrice, then he took more water and wiped over his head, and then he washed his feet until he cleaned them - 1 ملاحظة 71. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to take a ritual bath with one Sā‘ up to five Mudds, and he used to perform ablution with one Mudd 72. There is no Muslim who performs ablution well and then stands and prays two Rak‘ahs while focused on them with his heart and his face, except that Paradise will be guaranteed for him - 2 ملاحظة 73. Angels do not enter a house with a dog or an image inside it 74. Do not swear by Tawāghi (idols) nor by your fathers 75. Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is good, and whoever takes a bath has done what is better - 1 ملاحظة 76. When it is Friday, the angels stand at the door of the mosque and keep on writing the names of those coming in order of their arrival 77. Do not revile my Companions, for if anyone of you spends gold equal to Mount ’Uhud (in Allah's cause), it will not be equal to a Mudd or even half a Mudd spent by one of them 78. The best of the men's rows is the first, and the worst is the last, and the best of the women's rows is the last, and the worst is the first 79. These two prayers are the most burdensome of all prayers for the hypocrites. If you knew what they contain, you would come to them, even if you had to crawl on your knees 80. Allah has forgiven my Ummah for the thoughts that come to their minds, unless they act upon them or utter them 81. Perform ‘Umrah when Ramadan comes, for ‘Umrah in it is equivalent to Hajj - 2 ملاحظة 82. O Messenger of Allah, we consider Jihad the best deed; should we not perform Jihad? He said, "No; rather, the best Jihad is Mabrūr (accepted) Hajj 83. I was with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) when he arrived at the dump of some people and passed urine while standing 84. Do not envy one another, do not raise prices by overbidding against one another, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not undercut one another in trade; and be, O slaves of Allah, our brothers - 2 ملاحظة
