Among the most wicked people are those who will be alive when the Hour comes, and those who take the graves as places of worship Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger, that ‘Isa is the slave and Messenger of Allah, and His word which He communicated to Maryam, and a spirit from Him; and that Paradise is true and Hell is true, Allah will certainly admit him into Paradise, regardless of the deeds which he has done Whoever gives respite to an insolvent person or remits part of his debt, Allah will shade him on the Day of Judgment in the shade of His Throne, on a day when there will be no shade but His You will see your Lord as you see this moon, you will not have any difficulty in seeing Him What the Messenger of Allah has made unlawful is the same as what Allah has made unlawful The Hadīth of the Card When Allah created Paradise and Hellfire, He sent Jibrīl (peace be upon him) The first cases to be settled among people on the Day of Judgment will be the cases of blood (homicide). The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) passed by two graves and said: "They are being tormented, but they are not tormented for a major sin. One of them would not avoid urine, and the other used to walk about spreading malicious gossip." You will be with whom you love Shall I tell you something about the Antichrist that no prophet has ever told his people? Verily, he is one-eyed and will bring with him something like Paradise and Hell. What he says is paradise will actually be hell "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from an impending evil. Today, an aperture has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog, like this", making a circle with his thumb and index fingers. So I said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall we perish while there are pious people among us?" He said: "Yes, when wickedness is rampant." Raise your head, say and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be fulfilled Should I not inform you about the people of Paradise? Every weak person who is looked down upon; if he were to make an oath in the name of Allah, He (Allah) would fulfill it. He then said: Should I not inform you about the people of Hellfire? Every cruel, greedy, and arrogant person In Paradise, there are one hundred degrees that Allah prepared for those who make Jihad in the cause of Allah. The distance between each two degrees is like the distance between the heaven and earth A huge fat man will come on the Day of Judgment weighing less than a mosquito wing in the sight of Allah When a Muslim is questioned in the grave, he testifies that There is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. This is the explanation of the words of Allah, the Exalted: {Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the firm statement in this world and the Hereafter} [Sūrat Ibrahīm: 27] A believer will be brought close to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection and enveloping him in His mercy, He will make him confess his sins Man's feet will not move from their place on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, in what did he let it perish? About his knowledge, what did he do with it? About his wealth, from where did he earn it, and on what did he spend it? About his body, in what did he wear it out? Anyone pledges allegiance to a ruler, giving him the grasp of his hand and sincerity of his heart, he should obey him to the best of his capacity. If another man comes forward disputing his authority, then you should behead the latter Among them are those whom the fire will reach up to their ankles, others up to their knees, others up to their waists, and others up to their collarbones Every person will be resurrected in the same state he died in Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will say on the Day of Judgment: O son of Adam, I was ill, but you did not visit Me We were talking about the Farewell Hajj, when the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was with us. We did not know what the Farewell Hajj signified No Prophet was sent but that he warned his people against the one-eyed liar The Hadīth on Intercession Whoever memorizes ten of the first verses of Sūrat al-Kahf will be guarded against the Anti-Christ Do you know who the bankrupt is? Any owner of gold or silver who does not pay what is due on them, on the Day of Resurrection, plates of fire will be heated for him in the fire of Hell and with them his flank, forehead, and back will be seared My Lord has promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without being brought to account or punished. With every thousand there will be (another) seventy thousand, and three handfuls of my Lord The Sirāt will be placed over the center of Hell, covered with thorns similar to the thorns of the Sa‘dān. Then, people will pass over it; some will be safe without any harm, some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell Our Lord will reveal His Shin, and then all believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the worldly life for showing off and gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (in that situation) but their backs will be as stiff as if it is one bone The Hadīth of Abu Sa‘īd depicts some of the scenes of the Day of Judgment, when the believers see Allah, Blessed and Exalted; the "Sirāt" (bridge over Hell), taking anyone in whose heart there is an atom weight of faith out of the Fire, and the intercession I will be the chief of people on the Day of Judgment. Do you know why is this so? I know the last of the inhabitants of Hell to come out of it, and the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it. He is a man who will emerge from Hellfire crawling, and Allah, the Almighty, will say to him: Go and enter Paradise. When he arrives, it will appear to him that it is full. He will say: O Lord, I have found it full There are angels at the entrances of Madīnah, so neither the plague nor the Antichrist shall enter it Whoever says on hearing the call to prayer: "O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer that is to be offered, grant Muhammad the Wasīlah and the Fadīlah, and resurrect him to the praiseworthy station that You have promised him," He will definitely be granted my intercession on the Day of Judgment They spoke the truth. They are tormented, and their torment can be heard by all animals This Ummah will be tested in their graves. Were it not that you would not bury one another, I would supplicate Allah to make you hear what I hear of the torment of the grave When one of you dies, his seat (in the Hereafter) is shown to him in the morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise, (he is shown his seat) in Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hellfire, (he is shown his seat) in Hellfire The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My advent and the Hour are like these," and he pointed with his two fingers Indeed, this religion will reach everywhere the night and day can reach. Allah will not leave a dwelling in a city or a desert except that He will make this religion enter it, honoring the honorable or humiliating the humiliated; an honor which Allah will bestow on Islam, and a humiliation which Allah will inflict on disbelief By Him in Whose hand is my soul, a time would come upon the people when the killer would not know why he killed and the victim would not know why he was killed Allah does not wrong a believer in a good deed Among the portents of the Hour is that knowledge will be taken away The Hour will not come until a man would pass by the grave of another man and say: I wish I were in his place The Hour will not come until you fight the Jews The son of Mariyam will soon descend among you The Hour will not come until the sun rises from the west The Hour will not come until you fight the Jews Allah will grab the earth My Cistern is so large that it takes a month's journey to cross it I will be on the Cistern so that I see who among you will come to me By the One in Whose Hand the soul of Muhammad is, its vessels will outnumber the stars in the sky and its planets Death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white ram Your fire is one-seventieth part of Hellfire The creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's womb for forty days in the form of a drop That will be at the time when knowledge disappears The extent to which they betrayed you, disobeyed you, and lied to you will be measured against how much you punish them Is He Who is powerful to make them walk on their feet not powerful enough to make them walk upon their faces on the Day of Resurrection? O Messenger of Allah, which bliss will we be asked about; there are only two black things available: dates and water? He said: This will certainly come There will be in the latter time of my Ummah people who will narrate to you what neither you nor your fathers have heard When you hear the Muezzin, say what he says and then invoke Allah's blessings upon me A man will go to sleep and honesty will be taken out of his heart and only a trace of it will remain, like the trace of a dark spot. And a man will go to sleep again and the honesty will decrease further still, so its trace will resemble that of a blister. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him honor his guest with his due reward. They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is his due reward? He said: "A day and a night (of excellent accommodation) and hospitality is for three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity offered to him." By the One in whose Hand my soul is, this world will not come to an end until a man passes by a grave, rolls over it and says: I wish I were in the place of the dweller of this grave, not due to religious reasons but due to (worldly) affliction The Hour will not occur until the Euphrates recedes uncovering a mountain of gold over which people will fight. Ninety-nine out of every hundred will get killed People will desert Madīnah, in spite of its being in its best condition, and it will only be inhabited by wild beasts and birds A time will come when a man will go about with charity from his gold and not find anyone to receive it. One man will be seen being followed by forty women dependent upon him on account of the scarcity of men and the high number of women Righteous people will go (die) one after another. Meanwhile, the dregs of people, like waste barley or dates, will remain. Allah will not raise them in esteem Whoever suppresses his rage while being able to vent it, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will call him before the entire creation on the Day of Judgment so that he can choose whomever of the houris he wishes to have Allah, the Almighty, will say on the Day of Judgment: Where are those who loved each other for My glory? Today, I will shelter them under My shade the day when there is no shade but My shade Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Allah, the Almighty, said: Those who love one another for the sake of My glory will have pulpits of light for which the prophets and martyrs will envy them if the deceased was righteous, it (the corpse) would say: Send me forward, send me forward. But if he was not righteous, it would say: Woe to it! Where are you taking it? On the Day of Judgment, the sun will be drawn near people until it becomes a mile away from them An army will invade the Ka‘bah and when it reaches a desert, all of them will be swallowed up by the earth Between the two blows (of the Trumpet), there will be (an interval of) forty. The people said: O Abu Hurayrah, do you mean forty days? He said: I cannot say anything He who has wronged his brother, concerning his honor or anything else, let him ask for his pardon today before there comes a time when there will be neither a dinar nor a dirham People will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection barefooted, naked, and uncircumcised People will rise from their graves and stand before the Lord of the Worlds. Some of them will get submerged in their perspiration up to the middle of their ears All rights will be restored on the Day of Judgment, until even the hornless sheep will settle its score with the horned one The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessing be upon him) mentioned the Anti-Christ one morning, (sometimes describing him) to be insignificant and at other times important, till we thought that he might be amidst a cluster of date-palms Oxus, Jaxartes, Euphrates, and the Nile are all from the rivers of Paradise Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said: I have been assigned the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: Why is it that only the weak, the insignificant, and the simple enter me? People – or he said slaves - will be gathered on the Day of Judgment naked and uncircumcised Verily, the lowest place of any of you in Paradise will be that Allah will tell him to express his wish. He will wish and wish again. Allah will then ask him: Have you expressed your wish? He will answer: Yes, I have. Allah will say: You will have what you have wished for and the like thereof along with it When a disbeliever does a good deed, he is rewarded for it in this world. As to the believer, Allah, the Almighty, saves his good deeds to reward him in the Hereafter and provides him with sustenance in this life as a reward for his obedience The Muezzins will have the longest necks of all the people How can I feel pleasure when the one (angel) in charge of the Trumpet is holding it to his lips and his forehead is leaning forward, waiting to be given permission to blow? It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves with a trial close to that of the Anti-Christ The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) went out after the sun had set. He heard a sound and then said: The Jews are being tormented in their graves Describing part of the bliss of the grave and its torment Count six signs that indicate the approach of the Hour The Hour will not be established until a fire comes out of the land of Hejaz and throws light on the necks of camels in Busra There would be a caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it The Hour will not be established until you fight the Turks, who have small eyes, red faces, and flat noses. Their faces look like hammered shields. Again, the Hour will not be established until you fight people wearing shoes made of hair The Hour will not appear until you fight the non-Arab Khudh and Kirman. They are red faced, flat nosed, and small eyed. Their faces are like shields coated with leather and their shoes are made of hair O Khālid, after me, events, trials, and divergence will occur. So if you can be the servant of Allah who is killed, and not the one killing, then do so ‘Ali ibn Abi Tālib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I will be the first to kneel before the Most-Merciful on the Day of Resurrection for the dispute From among your caliphs there will be a caliph, at the end of times, who will distribute money without counting it On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: This is your ransom from Hellfire You will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will conquer it; then Persia and Allah will conquer it; then you will attack the Byzantines and Allah will conquer them; then you will attack the Anti-Christ and Allah will conquer him Two groups of my Ummah Allah shall protect from the Fire: a group that invades India and a group that will be with ‘Īsa ibn Maryam (peace be upon both of them) Read the Qur’an, as it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection By the One in Whose hand Muhammad's soul is! I hope that you would be one-half of the inhabitants of Paradise; for none shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and you, compared to the polytheists, are no more than a white hair on the skin of a black ox
