Verily, Allah gets jealous and the believer gets jealous. The jealousy of Allah is when the believer commits what He has made unlawful for him Allah has written down the good deeds and the bad ones. Then, He explained that: He who intends a good deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed; and if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down with Himself as ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. Yet, if he intends a bad deed and does not do it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed. But, if he intends it and does it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.” O My slaves, I have made oppression forbidden for Myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor, but when He seizes him, He does not release him Those who are merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to the inhabitants of earth and the One in the heaven will be merciful to you Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, descends every night to the lowest heaven when the last third of the night remains What is the reason for those people's fear? They willingly accept what is precise thereof, and react ruinously when it comes to what is broadly indicative Pursue the right course and be as close to it as possible, and keep in mind that none of you will be saved by his deeds." They said: O Messenger of Allah, not even you? He said: "Not even me unless Allah encompasses me with mercy and favor from Him I am as My slave thinks of Me and I am with him when he remembers Me No slave covers another slave in this world except that Allah would cover him on the Day of Judgment Allah divided mercy into one hundred parts. He retained with Him ninety-nine parts and sent down to earth one part. Because of this one part, creatures show mercy towards each other, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof away from its youngster lest it should hurt it O people, indeed, Allah is good and does not accept except what is good. Indeed, Allah has commanded the believers with what he commanded the messengers When Allah created the creation, He wrote in a book, which is with Him over the Throne: Verily, My mercy predominates over My anger O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you Allah, the Exalted, said: Glory is My Izār and Pride is My Cloak. I will punish whoever contends with Me over either of them The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he has no right to do so; and he insults Me and has no right to do so The Kursi is the resting place of the feet, and the size of the Throne cannot be estimated A Jew came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, Allah holds the heavens on one Finger, the earths on one Finger, the mountains on one Finger, the trees on one Finger, and the creatures on one Finger, then He says: I am the King Whoever shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine, I declare war against him. My slave does not draw near to Me with anything dearer to Me than what I have made obligatory for him There is none among you except that Allah will speak to him, with no interpreter between Him and him The Rahim (kinship ties) is hanging on to the Hujzah of the Most Merciful; He maintains ties with whoever maintains it (the Rahim) and severs ties with whoever severs it Would you not be content if I maintain ties with whoever maintains you, and sever ties with whoever severs you? Our Lord will reveal His Shin, and then all believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the worldly life for showing off and gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (in that situation) but their backs will be as stiff as if it is one bone When the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque, he would say: "a‘ūdhu billāhi al-‘azhīm wa biwajhihi al-karīm wa sultānihi al-qadīm min ash-shaytān ar-rajīm" (I seek refuge in Allah, the Majestic, and in His noble Countenance, and in His eternal dominion, from the accursed devil) Are you astonished at the jealousy of Sa‘d? I swear by Allah, I am more jealous than him, and Allah is more jealous than me. Because of His jealousy, Allah has prohibited immorality, the apparent and the hidden thereof No one, or nothing, is more patient about the offensive statements he hears than Allah. Verily, they ascribe a son to Him, yet He still grants them good health and sustenance The Hellfire will keep on saying: Are there anymore (to come), until the Lord of Honor puts His Foot therein. It will then say: I had enough! I had enough! [I swear] by Your Honor, and its sides will come together and it will retreat Allah Almighty will say to the dwellers of Paradise: 'O people of Paradise!' They will reply: 'O our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure.' He will say: ‘Are you contented?’ They will say: 'How could we not be contented, O Lord, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creation?' Do you find any difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? They said: No. He again said: Do you find any difficulty in seeing the moon during the fourteenth night when there are no clouds? Allah has ninety-nine names – one hundred minus one – and no one memorizes them but that they will enter Paradise. He is One, and He loves odd numbers When one of you stands to pray, he is privately conversing with his Lord, or his Lord is between him and the prayer direction. So let no one of you spit in the direction of prayer, but only to his left or under his feet Verily, Allah has ninety-nine names, one-hundred minus one. Whoever memorizes them all will enter Paradise Allah does not wrong a believer in a good deed; he will be given on account of it in this world and will be rewarded for it in the Hereafter Allah will grab the earth and roll up the heavens in His right Hand, then, He will say: 'I am the King. Where are the kings of the earth?' Is He Who is able to make them walk on their feet not able enough to make them walk upon their faces on the Day of Resurrection? Shall I not inform you about these three persons? One of them sought refuge with Allah, so Allah gave him refuge. The second one felt shy, so Allah was shy towards him. And the last one turned away, so Allah turned away from him. I love you for Allah's sake. He said: May the One you love me for His sake love you A rabbi came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, we learn that Allah will put the heavens on one finger and the earths on one finger Allah will fold the heavens on the Day of Judgment and then take them in His right hand and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then, He will fold the seven earths and take them in His left (hand) and say: I am the King. Where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Intercede and you will be rewarded, and Allah will decide what He loves on the tongue of His Prophet If Allah wills to show mercy to a people, He takes the soul of their prophet before them, thus making him a forerunner and an intercessor for them I am more entitled to that (action) than you. Pardon My slave The places that are dearest to Allah are the mosques, and the places that are most hateful to Allah are the markets The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer; he always concluded his recitation with Sūrat al-Ikhlās A mount was brought to ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) to ride on, and when he put his foot in the stirrup, he said: In the name of Allah Allah, Glorified and Exalted, laughs at two men, one of them kills the other, yet both enter Paradise. This one fights in the cause of Allah, so he gets killed. Then Allah accepts the repentance of the killer, so he becomes a Muslim and dies as a martyr Indeed you possess two traits that Allah loves: Prudence and deliberation O people, do not trouble yourselves too much. He Whom you are calling is not deaf or absent. Verily, He is with you, He is All-Hearing and Ever Near When Allah wants to punish a people, the punishment befalls whoever is among them, then they will be resurrected according to their deeds O Allah, I ask You to help me do good deeds and abstain from evil ones, to grant me the love of the poor and needy, and to forgive me and have mercy on me. And if it is Your Will that you put some people to trial (regarding their faith), then make me die without being put to that trial. I ask You to grant me Your Love, the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds that bring me closer to Your Love When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as long as He desired to leave him. Satan started to go round Adam looking at him. Once he saw that Adam had a hollow body, he realized that he was a weak creature If Allah, the Almighty, loves a slave, He calls out to Jibrīl and says: Verily, Allah, the Almighty, loves so-and-so; so love him. So, Jibrīl loves him and announces to the inhabitants of the heavens: Verily, Allah loves so- and-so; so love him; and the inhabitants of the heavens (the angels), thus, love him, and then he is granted acceptance on earth If the slave draws closer to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw closer to him by a cubit; and if he draws closer to Me by a cubit, I shall draw closer to him by the span of two outstretched arms. If he comes to Me walking, I shall come to him running Anyone loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and anyone dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him Indeed, Allah is the One who fixes prices, the Withholder, the Extender, and the Provider. Indeed, I wish to meet Allah while none of you will have any claim against me for an injustice regarding blood or property Verily, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is characterized by modesty and concealment, and He loves modesty and concealment. Therefore, when any of you bathes, let him conceal himself Allah said: If My slave draws close to Me by a hand-span, I shall draw close to him by a cubit, and if he draws close to Me by a cubit, I shall draw close to him by an outstretched arm span, and if he draws close to Me by an outstretched arm span, I shall hasten towards him Khawlah came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) complaining about her husband, but I could not hear what she was saying Allah creates every maker and what he makes Allah is the Physician. You are only a kind man. The one who heals it is the One who created it Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said: I have been assigned the arrogant and the tyrants. Paradise said: Why is it that only the weak, the insignificant, and the simple enter me? People – or he said slaves - will be gathered on the Day of Judgment naked and uncircumcised Verily, Allah is more merciful to His slaves than this woman is to her child Once a dog was moving around a well, and it was about to die from thirst. When a prostitute from Children of Israel saw it, she removed her shoe, filled it with water, and gave it to the dog to drink. She was forgiven for that Faith is Yamān and wisdom is Yamāniyyah A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I am weary Indeed, Allah is benevolent and He loves benevolence to everything. So, if you kill, kill benevolently, and if you slaughter, slaughter benevolently. Let one of you sharpen his blade and relieve his animal of suffering No Muslim regularly attends the mosques to perform prayer and remember Allah, but Allah is delighted for him just as the family of one who was away, is delighted upon his return I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) reciting it and putting his two fingers Bear in mind, O Abu Mas‘ūd, that Allah has more power over you than you have over this boy. I said: I will never beat a slave ever again My Lord, support me and do not support others against me; grant me victory and do not grant others victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make my guidance easy for me; grant me victory against whoever wronged me
