Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous."
Sahih/Authentic. - [Muslim]

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) described the man whom Allah, the Almighty, loves: "Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous." The pious man is he who fears Allah, thus he complies with His commands and avoids His prohibitions. Along with piety, he is rich in that he is free of (unnecessary) desires. He is in no need of people because Allah is sufficient for him. He asks Allah alone for his needs. He is also inconspicuous, preferring to keep a low profile. He does not care for being seen by people or pointed at or talked about. You find him going from his house to the mosque and from the mosque to his house, and from his house to the houses of his relatives and brethren.
