Sa‘d ibn Abi Waqqās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) say:
"Verily, Allah loves the servant who is pious, free of wants, and inconspicuous."

[Authentic hadith] - [Narrated by Muslim] - [Sahih Muslim - 2965]

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) pointed out that Allah Almighty loves some of His servants,
including the pious: those who fulfill Allah's commands and avoid His prohibitions.
And He loves those free from wants: those who dispense with people and only resort to Allah Almighty and turn to none but Him.
And He loves the inconspicuous: those who are modest and worship their Lord and only concern themselves with what benefits them, and they do not care about being recognized or praised by others.
