عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه مرفوعاً: «ليس شيءٌ أكرمَ على الله من الدعاء».
[حسن] - [رواه الترمذي وابن ماجه وأحمد]

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Nothing is more honorable in the sight of Allah than supplication."
Hasan/Sound. - [Ibn Maajah]

Explanation

"Nothing is more honorable in the sight of Allah than supplication" because supplication is a form of worship, and worship is the reason why Allah created people. Supplication indicates the omnipotence of Allah and His expansive knowledge, and indicates the weakness of the one supplicating and his dire need. For this reason, supplication is one of the most honorable things in the sight of Allah, Glorified and Exalted.
