Abu Sirmah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Anyone causes harm to a Muslim will be harmed by Allah, and anyone causes hardship to a Muslim will be caused hardship by Allah."
Hasan/Sound. - [Ibn Maajah]

Explanation

The Hadīth confirms the prohibition of causing harm and hardship to a Muslim, whether it is to the Muslim's body, family, property, or children. It states that anyone causes harm or hardship to a Muslim, Allah will repay him in in the same way. Harm could be a loss of benefit or inflicting damage of any sort. This, for example, includes deception and cheating in transactions, hiding defects, and proposing to a lady whom another Muslim has already proposed to.
