By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is! There is nobody of this Ummah, be they Jewish or Christian, who hears of me and then dies without believing in what I was sent with except that he will be among the people of Hellfire Everyone of my Ummah will enter Paradise except those who refuse. It was said: Who does refuse, O Messenger of Allah? He said: He who obeyed me, shall enter Paradise, and who disobeyed me, indeed he has refused Islam is built upon five (pillars) What the Messenger of Allah has made unlawful is the same as what Allah has made unlawful I set out with the delegation of Banu ‘Āmir to meet the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). We said (to him): You are our master. He said: The Master is Allah, Blessed and Exalted Raise your head, say and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be fulfilled I have been granted five things that none of the prophets before me was granted: I have been made victorious with the awe from a one month distance; the earth has been made a place of worship for me and a means of purification The best day the sun has risen over is Friday: on it Adam was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, and on it he was driven out of it The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) died when my house was void of any edible thing except for a small quantity of barley I had on a shelf and from which I kept eating it for a long time. Allah selected Kinānah from the children of Isma‘īl, Quraysh from Kinānah, the children of Hāshim from Quraysh, and me from the children of Hāshim. So I am the master of the children of Adam, without pride. And I am the first for which the earth will be split open, and I am the first intercessor, and the first to be granted intercession I have five names. I am Muhammad. I am Ahmad. Thereupon, ‘Īsa said to him: Did you steal? He said: No, by the One besides Whom there is no god. So ‘Īsa said: I believed in Allah and disbelieved my eyes It is not proper for a servant of Allah to say: I am better than Yūnus ibn Matta The sun was held (from setting) for any human except Yūsha‘ (Joshua), on the nights he marched to Jerusalem No one has ever eaten food better than that which his hands have earned. Indeed, Prophet Dawūd (peace be upon him) used to eat from the earnings of his own hands
