O Turner of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion O Allah, rectify for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs, and rectify for me the affairs of this world wherein is my sustenance, and rectify for me my Hereafter to which is my return, and make life for me an increase for every good, and make death a relief for me from every evil. O Allah, forgive my sins, my ignorance, my excess in my affairs, and whatever You are better aware of (my affairs) than myself O Allah, I ask you for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses, and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above; and I seek refuge with you lest I be swallowed up by the earth O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, now or in the future, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil, now or in the future, what I know and what I do not know O Allah, I seek refuge in you from withholding of your favor, the decline of my well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all what displeases You O Allah, I seek refuge with You from being overcome by debts, overcome by enemies, and from my enemies gloating over my misfortune The supplication that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) recited most: Our Lord, give us in this world [what is] good and in the Hereafter [what is] good and protect us from the torment of the Fire Say: O Allah, guide me and keep me steadfast on the right path The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from leucoderma, insanity, leprosy, and evil diseases Say: There is no god except Allah alone, Who has no partner. Allah is the Most Great, and Glorified with all glorification I said: O Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication. He said: Say O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen Verily, the hearts of all human beings are between two of the fingers of the Most Merciful as one heart; He turns it wherever He wills They spoke the truth. They are tormented, and their torment can be heard by all animals O ‘Abbās, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah, ask Allah for safety in this life and the Hereafter. O Allah, I surrender to You, I believe in You, I rely on You, I return in repentance to You, I oppose Your opponents. I seek refuge with Your Honor, there is no god but You, that You do not lead me astray. You are the Ever-Living who never dies, yet the Jinn and humans will all die! Recite frequently: Yādha al-jalāl wa al-ikrām (O Possessor of Majesty and Bounty) O Allah, Keep me away from reprehensible morals, deeds, inclinations, and illnesses O Allah, just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, decrepitude and the torment of the grave O Allah, I seek refuge in You from hunger, for it is an evil bed-fellow, and I seek refuge in You from treachery, for it is an evil hidden trait Shall I not teach you some words which the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) taught me, (it will surely prove so useful) that if you have a debt as large as a mountain, Allah will surely pay it on your behalf? Say: O Allah, Grant me enough of what You make lawful so that I may cast aside what You make unlawful, and bestow upon me Your favor so that I may dispense with all but You O Allah, I seek refuge with You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, senility, and miserliness. And I seek refuge with You from the torment of the grave. And I seek refuge with You from the trials of life and death Whenever the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) mounted his camel while setting out on a journey, he would say Takbīr three times and then say: Glory be to the One who subdued this (ride) for us and we were not ourselves powerful enough to use it as a ride, and to our Lord we shall, indeed, return Seek refuge with Allah from arduous afflictions, degrading misery, preordained evils, and from the gloating of enemies O Allah, verily I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire, the torment of the Fire, and from the evil of affluence and poverty Fear Allah and say "Allah is the Greatest" upon every elevated place O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight, light in my hearing, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light below me, light in front of me, light behind me, make light for me O Allah, cure Sa‘d, O Allah, cure Sa‘d My Lord, support me and do not support others against me; grant me victory and do not grant others victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make my guidance easy for me; grant me victory against whoever wronged me O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, abstinence, and sufficiency O Allah, to You I have submitted, and in You I have believed, in You I have put my trust, to You I have turned in repentance, and for You I have argued. O Allah, I seek refuge with Your power, there is no god but You, that You lead me astray. You are the Ever Living, the One who never dies, whereas the human beings and jinn will all die
