Keep on reciting the Qur’an, for by the One in Whose hand my life is, the Qur’an slips away from memory faster than camels escaping their tying ropes The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it to others Do not turn your houses into graves. Indeed, Satan runs away from the house in which Sūrat al-Baqarah is recited If one recites the last two verses of Sūrat al-Baqarah at night, it will suffice for him Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed, and the good deed receives a ten-fold reward I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for The example of a believer who recites the Qur’an is like that of a citron; it smells good and tastes good Whoever memorizes ten of the first verses of Sūrat al-Kahf will be guarded against the Anti-Christ Whoever does not recite the Qur’an with a melodious voice is not one of us Shall I teach you the greatest Sūrah in the Qur’an? The one who reads the Qur'an skillfully will be in the company of the noble and righteous messenger-angels and the one who reads the Qur'an, but stutters and finds it difficult, receives a double reward Have you not seen that some verses were revealed (to me) tonight the like of which has never been seen before? They are: {Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak} and {Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind} It will be said to the one devoted to the Qur’an: Read, ascend, and recite with deliberation O Abu al-Mundhir, do you know which verse of Allah's Book that you have is greatest? When he went to bed every night, he would join his palms together and blow into them There should be no envy except in two (cases): A man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a man whom Allah has given wisdom and he judges according to it and teaches it to others The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in prayer; he always concluded his recitation with Sūrat al-Ikhlās As Jibrīl (peace be upon him) was sitting with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) he heard a creak from above While a man was reciting Sūrat al-Kahf, with his horse tied with two ropes beside him You have been endowed with one of the melodious voices of the family of Dawūd There is a Sūrah in the Qur’an consisting of thirty verses. It interceded for a man until he was forgiven On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an and its people who acted upon it in the life of this world will be brought forth Indeed, Allah elevates some people with this Book and degrades others How terrible it is for someone to say: I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an, for indeed, he has been caused to forget it. So, you must keep on memorizing the Qur'an for it is more likely to escape from the hearts of men faster than camels Recite the Qur'an, because it will come as an intercessor on the Day of Judgment for its reciters Read the Qur’an, as it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection
