‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be said to the one devoted to the Qur’an: Read, ascend, and recite with deliberation as you used to recite in the world. Your rank will be at the last verse you recite."

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) mentions in the Hadīth that the one devoted to the Qur’an - he used to stick to the Qur’an by recitation and application, not recitation only - will be told upon entering Paradise: Read, ascend in the ranks of Paradise, and recite with deliberation as you used to recite in the world in an accurate and measured manner. Your rank in the Hereafter will be at the last verse you recite.
