Keep on reciting this Qur'an, for by the One in Whose Hand my soul is, the Qur'an slips away from memory faster than camels escaping their tying ropes The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed for it, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold The example of a believer who recites the Qur'an is like that of a citron; it smells and tastes good. And the example of a believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like that of a date; it has no smell and tastes good Whoever does not recite the Qur’an with a melodious voice is not one of us The one who reads the Qur'an skillfully will be in the company of the noble and righteous messenger-angels and the one who reads the Qur'an, but stutters and finds it difficult, receives a double reward It will be said to the one devoted to the Qur’an: Read, ascend, and recite with deliberation as you used to recite in the world. Your rank will be at the last verse you recite There should be no envy except in two (cases): A man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a man whom Allah has given wisdom and he judges according to it and teaches it to others You have been endowed with one of the melodious voices of the family of Dawūd On the Day of Resurrection, the Qur'an and its people who acted upon it in the life of this world will be brought forth Indeed, Allah elevates some people with this Book and degrades others How terrible it is for someone to say: I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an, for indeed, he has been caused to forget it. So, you must keep on memorizing the Qur'an for it is more likely to escape from the hearts of men faster than camels Read the Qur’an, as it will come as an intercessor for its companions on the Day of Resurrection
