There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than on these days," referring to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will make him reach the status of martyrs even if he dies on his bed Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah has indeed taken part in the fight himself; and whoever looks after the dependents of a fighter in his absence properly has indeed taken part in the fight himself Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah will not be touched by the Fire The martyr feels nothing from the agony of death except as one of you feels from the sting of an ant If I am killed for the cause of Allah, will my sins be forgiven? O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people? Whoever dies without having fought (in the cause of Allah) or having thought of fighting (in the cause of Allah) will die while having one of the qualities of hypocrisy ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked for the permission of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to make Jihad, so he said: Your Jihad is pilgrimage Observing Ribāt (guarding the Muslim frontiers in the cause of Allah) for a day and a night is better than fasting and standing for night prayer for a whole month. A man asked the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) during the Battle of Uhud: "If I am killed, where do you think I would be?" He replied: "In Paradise." He will wish to return to the world and be killed ten more times on account of the honor that he will find The example of a Mujāhid in the cause of Allah is like a person who keeps fasting, praying and reciting the verses of Allah unfailingly until the Mujāhid returns If somebody keeps a horse in Allah's cause motivated by his faith in Allah and his belief in His promise, then he will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection for what the horse has eaten or drunk and for its dung and urine Whoever is pleased with Allah as their Lord, with Islam as their religion, and with Muhammad as their Messenger, Paradise is guaranteed for him Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah will receive the same reward of freeing a slave Paradise is guaranteed for any Muslim who fights in the cause of Allah for the length of time between two milkings of a she-camel.
