There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days Whoever sincerely asks Allah, the Almighty, for martyrdom, Allah will raise him to the status of martyrs even if he dies on his bed Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah has indeed taken part in the fight himself; and whoever looks after the dependents of a fighter in his absence properly has indeed taken part in the fight himself Anyone whose feet get covered with dust in the cause of Allah will not be touched by Hellfire The martyr feels nothing from the agony of death except as one of you feels from the sting of an ant If I am killed for the cause of Allah, will my sins be forgiven? O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people? Whoever dies without having fought (in the cause of Allah) or having thought of fighting (in the cause of Allah) will die while having one of the qualities of hypocrisy ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked for the permission of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to make Jihad, so he said: Your Jihad is pilgrimage Observing Ribāt (guarding the Muslim frontiers in the cause of Allah) for a day and a night is better than fasting and standing for night prayer for a whole month. If a person dies (while performing Ribāt), he will receive the reward for his righteous deeds perpetually, will receive his provision, and will be saved from the trials of the grave The actions of every dead person come to a halt except the one who is garrisoned on the frontier in the way of Allah. His deeds will keep growing till the Day of Judgment, and he will be secure from the trial in the grave. Allah has guaranteed for the one who fights in His cause to admit him into Paradise if He takes his soul, or to return him safe and sound with reward or booty. Observing Ribāt (guarding the Muslims' frontiers) for one day in the way of Allah is better than the world and everything therein. A single journey undertaken in the early morning or in the evening in the cause of Allah is better than whatever the sun rises and sets upon No one is wounded in the way of Allah except that he comes on the Day of Judgment with his wound bleeding; the color is that of blood, and the smell is that of musk. A man asked the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) during the Battle of Uhud: "If I am killed, where do you think I would be?" He replied: "In Paradise." So the man threw some dates that were in his hand and fought until he was killed He did a little but was greatly rewarded Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection Allah forgives everything for the martyr except the debt Fight in the cause of Allah, for he who fights in the Cause of Allah for a period of time equal to that between two milkings of a she-camel, will be surely admitted to Paradise He who weeps out of fear of Allah, will not enter the Hell till the milk returns into the udder No one who enters Paradise would love to return to the life of this world even if he would be given everything that the world contains, except for the martyr. He will wish to return to the world and be killed ten more times on account of the honor that he will find The example of a Mujāhid in the cause of Allah is like a person who keeps fasting, praying and reciting the verses of Allah unfailingly until the Mujāhid returns If somebody keeps a horse in Allah's cause motivated by his faith in Allah and his belief in His promise, then he will be rewarded on the Day of Resurrection for what the horse has eaten or drunk and for its dung and urine Whoever is pleased with Allah as their Lord, with Islam as their religion, and with Muhammad as their Messenger, Paradise is guaranteed for him Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah will receive the same reward of freeing a slave Paradise is guaranteed for any Muslim who fights in the cause of Allah for the length of time between two milkings of a she-camel.
