The world is but an enjoyment and the best of worldly enjoyments is a righteous woman Life in this world is sweet and green, and indeed, Allah has made you successors there to see how you will behave. So, be cautious of this world and be cautious of women Let not a believing man hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another Beware of entering upon women." A man from the Ansār said: O Messenger of Allah, what about the Hamw (brother-in-law)? He said: "The Hamw is death O womenfolk, give charity, for indeed, I was shown that you form the majority of the dwellers of Hellfire." They said: Why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "You curse frequently, and you are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone deficient in intellect and religion more able to lead and subdue the mind of a stern man than one of you No woman should travel on a two-day-distant journey except with her husband or a Mahram Tasbīh is for the men, and clapping is for the women If a man invites his wife to his bed and she refuses, and so he spends the night angry with her, the angels will curse her until the morning Let no man stay the night in the place of a previously married woman unless he is her husband or her Mahram Indeed, I do not shake hands with women. My statement to a hundred women is like my statement to one woman I advise you to treat women kindly, for the woman was created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is its uppermost part. If you try to straighten it, you will break it; and if you leave it, it will remain crooked. So, treat women kindly. He said: Turn them out of your houses Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from (going to) the mosques of Allah, but let them go out without perfume and unadorned The narration about Barīrah and her husband One of the sons of Abu Talha was ailing. Abu Talha went out and the boy died in his absence By the One in Whose hand my soul is, whenever the devil sees you walking on a path, he follows a path other than yours A man came to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My wife does not object if anyone touches her. He said: Divorce her. The man said: I am afraid that I will miss her. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then enjoy her Ibn ‘Umar reported that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattāb wrote to the army commanders about men who stayed for a long time away from their wives. He ordered the [commanders] to charge them to either spend (on their wives) or divorce. If they divorce, they should send the financial support they had withheld You are more entitled to him as long as you do not get married
