Al-Mughīrah ibn Shu‘bah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"A group of my Ummah will continue to be victorious until Allah's command comes while they are victorious."

[Authentic hadith] - [Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim] - [Sahih Bukhari - 7311]

Explanation

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed that there will always remain a group from my Ummah who will prevail over the people, dominant over those who oppose them. This will continue until the command of Allah comes to take their souls at the end of time, before the advent of the Hour.

Benefits from the Hadith

  1. A clear miracle of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), as this description has, by Allah's grace, remained true from the time of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) until now and will continue until the command of Allah mentioned in the Hadīth comes to pass.
  2. The merit of remaining steadfast upon the truth and acting upon it and urging others upon it.
  3. The dominance of religion is of two types: one by way of proof, clarity, and explanation, and another by strength and force. The dominance by proof and clarity remains, as the proof of Islam is the Qur’an, which is clear and prevails over everything else. However, the second type of dominance, through strength and force, depends on the level of faith and empowerment on earth.
