1. The speech of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was clearly articulated that anyone who listened to him could understand it 2. Allah's statement: {So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know} [Sūrat al-Baqarah: 22]. Ibn ‘Abbās commented: Equals are polytheism. It is subtler than the crawling of a small black ant on a black stone in the darkness of the night - 2 ملاحظة 3. Speak to the people according to their level of understanding. Do you wish that Allah and His Messenger be denied? 4. To swear by Allah even if I were telling a lie is dearer to me than to swear by other than Him even if I were telling the truth - 1 ملاحظة 5. What is the reason for those people's fear? They willingly accept what is precise thereof, and react ruinously when it comes to what is broadly indicative 6. No one can undo the magic except a magician - 3 ملاحظة 7. The seven heavens and the seven earths in the palm of the Most Merciful are no more than a mustard seed in the hand of one of you 8. O Messenger of Allah, I had vowed, before embracing Islam, to make I‘tikāf for one night – another narration reads: for one day – the Sacred Mosque. He said: Then fulfill your vow. 9. Were people to be given everything they claimed, some men would claim the properties and blood of (other) people. However, the onus of proof is on the plaintiff and the oath is upon the one who denies the claim (defendant) 10. Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will accept his repentance 11. O Usāmah, you killed him after he had said "there is no god but Allah"? 12. We used to speak during prayer; a man would talk with his companion at his side in the prayer until [this verse] was revealed: {...And stand before Allah in devout obedience.} So we were commanded to keep silent, such that we were forbidden to talk 13. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prayed over a grave after he had been buried, making four Takbīrs 14. Whoever passes through any of our mosques or markets with arrows with him, he should hold them by their heads lest he injures any of the Muslims with them 15. Allah, the Almighty, says: I am with My slave as long as he remembers Me and his lips move saying My Name - 1 ملاحظة 16. Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will say on the Day of Judgment: O son of Adam, I was ill, but you did not visit Me 17. Whoever is presented with basil should not decline it. Indeed, it is light to carry and pleasant to smell 18. O Messenger of Allah, who is the best among people? 19. If a man calls his wife to fulfill his desire, she should come to him even if she is busy with the oven 20. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade Munābadhah, which is when a man throws a garment to another thus selling it to him before the buyer unfolds it or examines it. He also forbade Mulāmasah, which is when a man touches a garment [thus buying it] without examining it 21. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits until they are ripe. They said: What is meant by ripe? He said: When they become red. He added: What if Allah prevents the fruits, how could one of you consider his brother's money lawful for himself? 22. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited the selling of a fruit until it is evidently ripe. He forbade both the buyer and the seller 23. When three people set out on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their leader - 1 ملاحظة 24. They used to beat us over testimony and promises when we were still children - 3 ملاحظة 25. Allah, the Exalted, said: Glory is My Izār and Pride is My Cloak. I will punish whoever contends with Me over either of them 26. A person who attributes his fatherhood to anyone other than his real father, knowing that he is not his father, commits an act of disbelief. And he who makes a claim of anything which in fact does not belong to him, is none of us, and he should make his abode in Hell. And he who labels anyone as disbeliever or calls him the enemy of Allah while he is in fact not so, his charge will revert to him 27. Allah does not listen as attentively to anything as He listens to a prophet with a melodious voice 28. Allah did not send a prophet except that he tended sheep - 1 ملاحظة 29. Allah has appointed an angel in charge of the womb, and the angel says: O Lord, (it is) a sperm drop! O Lord, (it is now ) a clot! O Lord, (it is now) a piece of flesh. Then, when Allah wills to complete its creation, the angel asks: O Lord, (will it be) a male or female? Wretched (an evil doer) or blessed (doer of good)? How much will his provisions be? How long will he live? All that is written while the fetus is still in his mother's womb 30. The Kursi is the resting place of the feet, and the size of the Throne cannot be estimated 31. Whoever insults the ruler, Allah will insult him - 1 ملاحظة 32. Whoever learned archery then forsook it, is not one of us, or he said: he has indeed disobeyed 33. Soon there will come a time when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he will take to the mountaintops 34. Angels were created from light, Jinn were created from a smokeless flame of fire, and Adam was created from what was described to you 35. A number of Hadīths pertaining to the virtue of Dhikr sessions 36. My Lord has promised me that seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without being brought to account or punished. With every thousand there will be (another) seventy thousand, and three handfuls of my Lord 37. The Rahim (kinship ties) is hanging on to the Hujzah of the Most Merciful; He maintains ties with whoever maintains it (the Rahim) and severs ties with whoever severs it - 2 ملاحظة 38. If a fly falls into the drink of any one of you, he should dip it (in the drink) and then remove it, for in one of its wings there is a disease and in the other there is cure - 1 ملاحظة 39. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and passed a wet hand on his forelock, over the turban, and over the two leather socks 40. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to run the water around his elbows while performing ablution 41. I saw the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over the top of his leather socks - 1 ملاحظة 42. If you had been from this city, I would have inflicted pain on you. You raise your voices in the Prophet's Mosque - 1 ملاحظة 43. I know the last of the inhabitants of Hell to come out of it, and the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it. He is a man who will emerge from Hellfire crawling, and Allah, the Almighty, will say to him: Go and enter Paradise. When he arrives, it will appear to him that it is full. He will say: O Lord, I have found it full 44. Do you find any difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when there are no clouds? They said: No. He again said: Do you find any difficulty in seeing the moon during the fourteenth night when there are no clouds? 45. Allah has ninety-nine names – one hundred minus one – and no one memorizes them but that they will enter Paradise. He is One, and He loves odd numbers - 2 ملاحظة 46. There are angels at the entrances of Madīnah, so neither the plague nor the Antichrist shall enter it 47. When the son of Adam recites a verse of prostration and then falls down in prostration, the devil retreats, weeps, and says: Woe unto him, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated, so Paradise is for him. However, I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused to, so the Fire is for me 48. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on his riding animal, regardless of the direction it was facing. When he wanted to perform an obligatory prayer, he would dismount and face the Qiblah 49. When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey and wished to offer voluntary prayers, he made his she-camel face the Qiblah, said Takbīr, and then prayed towards whatever direction his mount would face 50. All of the earth is a mosque (prayer place) except the graveyard and the bathroom 51. Tasbīh is for the men, and clapping is for the women 52. Revelation would descend upon the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) on a cold morning and his forehead would stream with perspiration - 3 ملاحظة 53. Adorn the Qur'an with your voices 54. Do not argue about the Qur’an, for arguing about it constitutes disbelief 55. When one of you stands to pray, he is privately conversing with his Lord, or his Lord is between him and the prayer direction. So let no one of you spit in the direction of prayer, but only to his left or under his feet 56. I have not been ordered to build lofty mosques 57. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) died with his head resting between my chest and my neck. When his soul departed (his body), it smelled like the best scent I have ever smelled 58. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace ‎and blessings be upon him) was sent as a Messenger of Allah at the age of forty. Then he ‎stayed in Makkah for thirteen years receiving the divine revelation. Afterwards, he was ‎commanded to emigrate (to Madīnah where he lived) for ten years, and he died at the age ‎of sixty-three 59. The last glance I had of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was when he uncovered the curtain while the people were in rows behind Abu Bakr 60. When Allah wills good for a slave, He uses him before he dies - 2 ملاحظة 61. I do not eat while reclining on my side 62. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) forbade breathing into the pot or blowing into it - 2 ملاحظة 63. Allah sent down the verse wherein He prohibited alcohol at a time when there was no other (intoxicant) drink in Madīnah except that prepared from dates 64. I am not responsible for any Muslim who stays among the polytheists 65. I will certainly expel the Jews and the Christians from the Arabian Peninsula until only Muslims are left in it 66. Competitions with prizes are allowed only in camel racing, horse racing, and shooting arrows 67. Indeed, power is in shooting. Indeed, power is in shooting. Indeed, power is in shooting 68. You will eagerly seek out a position of authority, but it will be a source of regret on the Day of Judgment. How excellent is the wet nurse, and how evil is the weaning one
