I prepared water for Allah's Messenger to purify himself from the major ritual impurity. He poured water with his right hand onto his left hand twice or three times and then washed his private parts and rubbed his hand on the ground or the wall On taking a ritual bath, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to wash his hands, then perform ablution like that for prayer, then wash himself Whoever takes a bath on Friday, like the bath taken from sexual impurity, and then goes (to the mosque) on the first hour is like the one who offers a camel as a sacrifice; and whoever goes on the second hour is like the one who offers a cow as a sacrifice Whoever of you comes to attend the Friday prayer, let him take a bath If any of you has sexual intercourse with his wife and then wished to have intercourse again, then let him perform ablution between the two times Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is good, and whoever takes a bath has done what is better The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to sleep while in a state of Janābah without touching water It is due upon every Muslim to take a bath once in every seven days I came to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) with the intention of embracing Islam. He commanded me to take a bath with water and the leaves of lote-tree Umm Habībah had non-menstrual vaginal bleeding for seven years. She asked the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about that, and he ordered her to take a ritual bath. No one of you should urinate in stagnant water then take a ritual bath with it The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) saw a person sitting aloof and not praying with the people. He asked him: “O so-and-so, what prevented you from offering the prayer with the people?” He replied: “O Messenger of Allah, I am ritually impure and there is no water.” In response, the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You should use clean earth, and that will be sufficient for you.” I was in a state of major ritual impurity and disliked to sit with you while being impure. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Glory be to Allah! The believer never becomes impure O Messenger of Allah, verily, Allah does not feel shy of the truth. If a woman had a wet dream, would it be obligatory on her to take a ritual bath? He replied: Yes, if she sees vaginal fluid I used to wash the traces of semen from the garment of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and he would go out to the prayer with water spots on his garment The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to pour water over his head thrice If he sits between her four limbs and exerts himself, the ritual bath becomes obligatory The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to take a ritual bath with water left over from Maymūnah (may Allah be pleased with her) I used to take a bath with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) from Janābah using a single water container in which we dipped our hands alternately It is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water on your head then pour water all over yourself, and you will be purified I poured water for the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to take a ritual bath When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) took a ritual bath to remove Janābah, he would start by washing his hands. Then he would pour water with his right hand over his left hand to wash his private parts. Then he would make ablution like that he would make for his prayer Man's discharge (i. e. semen) is thick and white, and the discharge (vaginal fluid) of a woman is thin and yellow, and the resemblance (of the child) comes from the one that dominates or precedes I went to ‘Ā’ishah and asked her to describe to me the Messenger's illness. ‘Ā’ishah said: Yes. The Prophet became seriously ill and asked whether the people had prayed. We replied: No, O Messenger of Allah! They are waiting for you O Messenger of Allah, if a man parts from his wife suddenly (during sexual intercourse) without discharging semen, what will he be required to do? The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is water (seminal discharge) that makes water (ritual bath) obligatory The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) would approach all of his wives and then take one ritual bath
