Whoever recites the last two verses of Sūrat al-Baqarah at a night, they will suffice him O Allah, by You we have reached the morning, and by You we have reached the evening; by You we live, and by You we die, and to You is the Resurrection The best way of seeking Allah's forgiveness "{Say: "He is Allah, the One"} and Al-Mu'awwidhatān (Surat al-Falaq and Surat an-Nās) thrice in the evening and the morning, they will grant you protection from everything Whoever says three times: 'In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing' will not suffer sudden affliction until the morning In the evening, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: The evening has reached, and all the dominion belongs to Allah and praise be to Allah. There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner. I recited four phrases, after I had left you, if they were to be weighed against what you have been reciting since morning, they would outweigh them. These are: Praise and glory be to Allah by the number of His creatures and His pleasure, and by the weight of His throne and the ink of His words
