When one mentions Allah's name, on entering his house and when eating, the devil says to his companions: There is no night shelter nor supper here for you. However, when one does not mention Allah's name, on entering his house, the devil says: You have found yourselves a night shelter and supper By Allah! I ask Allah for forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day O people, seek repentance from Allah and seek His forgiveness. Verily, I seek repentance one hundred times a day O Allah, forgive all my sins, small and great, first and last Say: There is no god except Allah alone, Who has no partner. Allah is the Most Great, and Glorified with all glorification O Allah, I surrender to You, I believe in You, I rely on You, I return in repentance to You, I oppose Your opponents. I seek refuge with Your Honor, there is no god but You, that You do not lead me astray. You are the Ever-Living who never dies, yet the Jinn and humans will all die! Recite frequently: Yādha al-jalāl wa al-ikrām (O Possessor of Majesty and Bounty) O Allah, forgive my past and future sins, and my secret and open sins
